PEO MLB 2023 Accomplishments Report

In 2023, PEO MLB continued to mature as an organization by consolidating offices and capabilities into our Technical Directorate Office (TDO) and adding a new portfolio, Marine Corps Manpower Information Technology Systems Modernization (MITSM), which is the Marine Corps version of our Navy manpower portfolio. We also welcomed two new portfolio managers on board and continued to deliver critical defense business solutions to enable the DON’s day-to-day administrative, business, and financial operations. The many accomplishments of our portfolios highlighted in this report are just a snapshot of the capabilities and services we delivered to the Sailors, Marines, and civilians of the DON.

PEO MLB 2022 Accomplishments Report

2022 was an eventful year for PEO MLB. We said goodbye to our inaugural Program Executive Officer (PEO), and welcomed Ms. Christine Rodriguez as our new PEO in March 2022. We added Ready Relevant Learning as a new major capability. We updated our organizational structure to improve the delivery of the services that our customers require. Like the rest of the Department of the Navy, we embraced the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Mike Gilday’s “Get Real, Get Better” initiative, a call to action for every Navy Leader to apply a set of Navy-proven leadership and problem solving best practices that empower our people to achieve exceptional performance.

PEO MLB 2021 Accomplishments Report

2021 was challenging as we continued to adapt to the pandemic, but it was also extremely productive as PEO MLB’s team rose to the occasion in delivering and upgrading the high-quality manpower, financial, logistics and business systems required to improve the lives of our Sailors and Marines on a daily basis.

In 2021, PEO MLB:

  • Completed our first full fiscal and calendar year as PEO MLB
  • Established two new capabilities — Data Transformation Services and Innovation Support Services
  • Signed operating agreements with all of the Navy’s logistics related systems commands
  • Transitioned from a paper-based Program Management Review (PMR) process to an electronic dashboard format
  • Migrated the Navy Enlisted System/Officer Personnel Information (NEWS-OPINS) to the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), which is part of the larger effort to consolidate the “Big Five” personnel systems into a single, integrated capability in support of Navy Personnel and Pay (NP2)
  • Deployed Technical Data Management CATALYST (TDM-CATALYST), a Marine Corps software development platform used to streamline and automate logistical processes, improve quality and visibility and transform the user experience.
